lEAD. INSPIRE. EDUCATE.

THOUGHTFUL GIVING.

The projects and Ideas we fund represent opportunities to leverage private sector dollars for social good.

Our grantees reflect the diversity of our board’s interest and passions, and the spectrum of our investment also reflects on the extraordinary pool of talent that we have all around us.

We are not able to fully solve any one social issue or challenge, but through calculated risks, social investments, patience, listening and chronic learning, we hope to make thoughtful decisions on who to fund.

We look forward to being active partners with our grantees and continue to improve on our grant making.

The SOSA Family Foundation Grants offer a wide range of investments from both individuals to small organizations.

Each focus area has a diverse portfolio of grantees, yet collectively they represent a snapshot of innovative leaders who are all working toward having positive impact in their respective areas.

This diverse portfolio allows us to have our finger on the pulse of what it means to fund people and ideas and to seek the greatest impact for that investment.

There is no doubt that some of our investments are out there - but that the whole point of what we look for.

We are committed to living out our families legacy and vision in all aspects of our foundation’s work. Therefore, not only should our grants supporting people and ideas be made for the betterment of society, but so should the investments that we make for the purpose of endowing and sustaining our foundation.

WHAT WE FUND

PEOPLE, PROJECTS and IDEAS FOCSUED ON HEALTH & WELLNESS, ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY, and CULTURAL UNITY FOR A BETTER WORLD.

With intent to open opportunities and encourage positive thinking outside of established ideas and agencies, the SOSA Foundation offers opportunities for funding and mentorship.

A review panel of community leaders and Sosa family members considers proposals that reimagine new and more effective ways to better others’ lives, equality, equity, and representation.

SUSTAINED IMPACT

Your support will provide steady funding to SOSA Foundation programs and activities that are making a real difference for people – locally, nationally, and globally.

General Operating support, program support, capacity building, and capital campaign requests will be considered.

We are creating a community of people who are willing to make a difference, believe in the goodness and ideas of others, and act on the world’s challenges, together.

YOUR DONATIONS

When you donate, you’ll be helping to fund programs that put people and communities first through their reimagining of the what if’s and how do we do things better.

Focusing on expanding economic opportunities, encouraging disenfranchised individuals to lead and have an impacting voice, and confronting and improving engagement, growth, and service.

Your tax-deductible gift makes our work possible, and every gift matters. We invite you to give at a level that’s best for you.
